Elhunyt paptestvérek 2018-ban

1. Ft. BODÓ György gyimesközéploki plébános, életének 45., papságának 20. évében, 2018. január 11-én, csütörtökön elhunyt a csíkszeredai kórházban. 2018. január 13-án, szombaton temették a gyimesközéploki templomkerítés keresztútja XIV. stációjánál, végakarata szerint.

2. Nt. PÉNZES József c. esperes, csikszeredai–Szent Ágoston plébánosa, életének 68., papságának 40. évében, 2018. február 9-én, pénteken elhunyt plébániáján. Meghagyása szerint, 2018. február 17-én, szombaton temették a Szent Ágoston templom kerítésében.

3. Ft. MÁTHÉ Ferenc id. c. esperes, szentszéki tanácsos, nyugalmazott berecki plébános, a székelyudvarhelyi Pastor Bonus Papi Otthon lakója, életének 80.,papságának 55. évében, 2018. május 21-én, hétfőn elhunyt a kórházban. 2018. május 23-án, szerdán temették szülőfalujában, Korondon a kalondai temetőben.

4. Ft. Marcello Francesco Giacomo MARANTA ny. plébános, a svájci churi egyházmegye papja, 2002 óta Nagyszeben–Kistoronyban lakott. Életének 80., papságának 54. évében, szentségekkel megerősítve, 2018. június 20-án elhunyt. Június 22-én a kistoronyi evangélikus temetőben helyezték örök nyugalomra.

5. Ft. DACZÓ Árpád P. Lukács OFM ferences atya, ny. plébános, „a Babba Mária” kutatója, 2018. október 16-án kedden elhunyt Désen, életének 97., szerzetességének 78., papságának 73. évében. Néprajzi kutatásaiért több magyar állami kitüntetést kapott. Temették Désen 2018. október 19-én pénteken, a dési Rózsahegyi temető ferences parcellájában.

For World Mission Day 2026, which marks the centenary of a celebration established by Pius XI that is very dear to the Church, I have chosen the theme “One in Christ, united in mission.” Following the Jubilee Year, I wish to encourage the whole Church to continue its missionary journey with joy and zeal in the Holy Spirit.

Each year the World Day of Migrants and Refugees invites us to turn our attention to different aspects of the complex phenomenon of migration. For this 112th World Day, the theme, “Even just one of these children,” draws our attention to the minors directly involved in the experience of migration and flight, to the care owed to them, and to the Lord’s promise that “whoever receives one such child in my name receives me” (Mk 9:37).

Message of His Holiness Pope Leo XIV for the 11th World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation 2026

Dear brothers and sisters, the path before us is clear, though it is not easy. We are called to allow our hearts to be renewed, so that we might seek peace and care for creation. Scripture tells us to guard our hearts, for everything we do flows from them (cf. Prov 4:23).
